Vibration and Music Connections to Energy
Welcome to the Tuesday Talks blog. This blog is an overview of the live 10:30 episode of Tuesday Talks at 10:30. This weekly blog is intended to get you thinking about your spiritual path of awareness. To touch upon topics you may be curious about, things you may have experienced but cannot explain. Knowing things that have slipped into your consciousness but how do they arrive at the time you need answers? Maybe you wondered what a mediumship reading is like, how to meditate, or manifesting the life you love. Are you wondering where this life path is leading you? Have you been trying to heal your inner self? If so, this is the blog for you. Each week our topics are different. Ranging from action plans, spiritual warfare we are witnessing in the world today and alignment. All to let you know that you are not alone on this journey of mystery. We all are on some form of healing journey to awaken a new sense of consciousness.
Today, I want to talk about vibration. The energy level within each of us. Everything we are around, everything we touch, has an energetic vibrational blueprint. Some give us energy, while some drain us. Recognizing the difference between the two is all part of mindfulness. Paying attention, being present with yourself. Asking the question, how do I feel right now? Growing to realize when your energy needs to be cleansed and how to go about it. How to give it a boost and align your thoughts and feelings. Now, don’t get me wrong, I am in no way saying you will always have good days. It is ok to give yourself permission to have bad days. But if you are feeling stuck, it is time to tune in and turn up your energy volume. Clearing your energy can be going for a walk, meditation, yoga, writing and journaling. Whatever gives you peace.
My favorite way to boost my energy is through music. I allow the sound of music to flow over and through me. Adding movement brings my level up as well. We’ve all said at one time or another, “I love this song, turn it up,” or you may listen to it again only louder. Music is a connection to all the receptors of the body. The words have meaning, the notes and chords travel through waves in order to touch us. I feel as though the notes float through the air and meet me where I am. I love to close my eyes and get lost in the dance. This allows me to move in the way my soul longs to connect to the sounds. I lose all ability to be concerned about what the world is doing or what others may think. Dancing makes me happy. You may even see me dancing in the aisle of a grocery store if the song needs a participant.
So, let’s talk about music, words, vibration and connection. A few years ago, I wrote a book called “My Head Knows…. But My Heart Still Hurts." (A 30-day grief recovery journal)” It is not only about creating a memoir of memories and letters. It also has tips on self-care and there is a chapter dedicated to music and songs. I asked member of our community to tell me the songs that connect them to those in spirit. I had hundreds of comments; some songs were mentioned several times. Most I knew but some I did not. Let me tell you, I listened to every one of those songs. I pondered why these songs were important. Did they bring a childhood memory, were they the favorite song of the ones in spirit, why did these words aid healing and connect to the one grieving? I wondered how many artists and songwriters wrote these songs with the intention that someday it would walk back a memory to the listener, offering peace. What a miraculous honor that would be. To me, maybe even better than a platinum record. Knowing that Spirit used a song I wrote to send a loving sign to someone grieving.
The passage in the book is on page 201 where I wrote: “Songs can be powerful. They wake up memories, place snapshots in your mind, help you walk through grief, and they can be signs from your loved ones. Has there ever been a time you were thinking of them, when you just wanted them close by and suddenly their favorite song comes on? That’s a sign. They are letting you know they are with you. Spirit love to come through in song. Spirit is a vibrational energy, and music is a vibration. This is a fairly easy connection for them. When we hear songs, they help us breathe, cry and laugh.” I go on to say, “I couldn’t choose which ones not to list, so the list is rather longer. They are all different genres and artists. Take a minute from time to time, look over the list and choose a song or two, find a quiet spot, close your eyes and allow your spirit, your energy, to encompass the music. Don’t just listen to it, feel it. Allow the music to take you away from any chaos that may be going on in your life. Allow God and the angels to whisk you away, if only for a few minutes. Together, we can help each other through song and music. Your loved one is never far away… Just a song away.”
I’ve listed the songs below. I ask that you pause with the song title and allow your mind to go to where it needs to travel. Pay attention to how your heart and energy responds. Take time to listen to these songs with the intention of a better understanding not only of your energy but also the energy that the music brings to you.

Did any of those songs bring anyone to your mind? A memory or a flashback? Did you get tingles? Maybe that song was your sign for today. Make note of what you just experienced. Maybe read the lyrics to those songs and see where your thoughts go. Listen to the song. Again, make note of where your mind goes.
One of my favorites is “Rainbow Connection”. “You Are My Sunshine” brings so many memories to light, but “Rainbow Connection” asks the questions we all wonder. Here are the lyrics. It just makes me smile every time I hear it. I often wonder who this song was meant for, what was the impact the songwriter was trying to achieve for the listener. I think for all of us, young and old, this is our theme song.
“Why are there so many songs about rainbows? And what’s on the other side? Rainbows are visions but only illusions, and rainbows have nothing to hide. So, we’ve been told, and some choose to believe it. The rainbow connection. The lovers, the dreamers and me. Who said that every wish would be heard and answered when wished on the morning stars? Somebody thought of it, and someone believed it. Look what it’s done so far. What’s so amazing that keeps us stargazing, and what do we think we might see? Someday we’ll find it. The rainbow connection. The lovers, the dreamers and me. All of us under its spell. We know it’s probably magic. Have you been half asleep and have you hear voices? I’ve heard them calling my name. Is it the sweet sound that calls to the sailors? The voice might be one in the same. I’ve heard it too many times to ignore it. It’s something that I’m supposed to be. Someday we’ll find it, the rainbow connection. The lovers, the dreamers and me.”
I just love the meaning behind this song. It speaks to me about my childhood, watching the stars, being in awe of a rainbow, let alone a double rainbow. It makes me wonder about the beauty of the unknown. Of what has been and what is coming. As well as loved ones who have traveled beyond the rainbow ahead of me. And so much more. This song is so filled with so much vibrational thought that I listen to it to fill up my energetic tank. Especially if it’s raining, and a rainbow is present. It is a promise of the other side. Those waiting for us to finish our journey on the earthly plane to one day reunite with them again.
They are never far away. When you get quiet, you may even hear yourself whisper your name. Just like the song says, “Rainbows are visions but only illusions, rainbows have nothing to hide”. This line is telling you to be unique, be yourself. Visualize a world, a life with nothing to hide. My vibrations explode just imagining that for everyone. My vision is not an illusion; we can come together at this time and be present with ourselves.
Here is to raising your vibration and connecting to our energetic path to visualize bringing the reality of living the life you love and loving the life you live.
Blessings.
